This boutique style hotel is a family feel establishment with basic amenities in the room. They are very welcoming and friendly with help yourself service to hot beverages in the dining area. Check-in was swift and informative. The reception staff, in particular Aamir, was very helpful and provided maps and hints/tips when to visit some of the places and how to deal with taxis and their extortionate fares. We had the family room where the WiFi was reliable in the room and had aircon. There is plenty of space within the room and Toiletteries in the bathroom. The hotel is ideally located close to the Blue Mosque and an ideal base to explore the city. I would recommend downloading Google Maps as the hotel is quite hidden and difficult to find for the first time. Overall, it was a pleasant experience from a reasonably priced hotel. We stayed here in August 2023. The hotel is fairly small, making it ideal for families. We were a family of 5 and booked the family room situated in the basement. It was an extremely cool and well layed out basement. Directly next to our room. Was a huge lounge area and small kitchenette. On the ground floor there is access to a dining area/kitchen and open courtyard. The hotel has a small number of rooms and is calm and relaxing. Staff are amazing and extremely helpful. Please be mindful that natural ventilation in the basement is limited, but this did not bother us too much as we were out from 8am to 10pm most days. Superb hotel for the price. Amir on reception was extremely helpful and nothing was to much trouble.

We stayed here and had a fantastic time. The hotel is really well located for all the old city sights and surrounded by great places to eat and drink. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The communal area downstairs had a hot drinks machine and water, which was a nice touch. The thing that really makes this hotel so special, however, are the super friendly and helpful staff, who really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay in Istanbul. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Booking each airport transfer was so easy, and we can imagine this would also have been the case had we had any additional trips, etc, that we wanted to do. We'll definitely book here again next time we're in Istanbul :) The only thing I would say is that if you're not great with stairs, then it's worth contacting the hotel ahead of time and requesting a room on a lower floor, as the room we had was up a short but relatively steep flight of stairs. Absolutely fine for us, but it could be a problem if you have some mobility issues.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in Istanbul before flying to marmaris. The reception staff were brilliant throughout, giving us tips and pointers with maps on what to do at what time. They also helped us booking airport transfers and taxis. Lovely room very clean and also the hotel is in a lovely location for sightseeing. Would also recommend the Fish home restaurant round the corner if you like fresh sea food. Really really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the Ferman Konik team!
